Abstract

The concepts of patriotism in Saraiki literature come out as a comprehensive and diverse literary attitude, reflected freely in national anthems, patriotic songs, cultural songs, religious hymns, qawwalis, as well as in essays, articles, and creative, research, and critical discussions. These literary facts not only reflect national identity, collective consciousness, and cultural values, but also give literary expression to historical experiences, political awareness, and social sentiments. The concept of patriotism in Saraiki literature is not limited only to geographical affiliation; it also encloses elements of cultural harmony, religious tolerance, national unity, and humanity. The present study analyzes these various literary expressions of patriotism and attempts to clarify how Saraiki literature presents feelings of attachment to the homeland with intellectual depth and artistic beauty, playing a significant role in awakening the reader's consciousness and strengthening national identity.
