The praise and admiration of the Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him), have not only been expressed by followers of Islam, but poets, writers, philosophers, and thinkers from every religion and background around the world have also written in his honor. Urdu holds the unique distinction of being the language with the largest collection of poetry in praise of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Moreover, within the rich tradition of Urdu poetry, the contribution of non-Muslim poets to Na’at (poetry in praise of the Prophet) is no less significant than that of any other language. Maharaja Sir Kishan Prasad 'Shad', Dilu Ram Kausari, Tilok Chand Mehroom, Har Gopal Tufta, Jagan Nath Azad, Laxmi Narayan, and Kunwar Mahendr Singh Bedi are among the many non-Muslim poets who have composed Na’ats in praise of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Among these poets, one prominent name is Sardar Panchhi. His Na’at poetry reflects a deep devotion and heartfelt reverence for the Prophet, expressed in a beautifully artistic manner. Owing to the richness of his style and the purity of his emotions, his Naat holds a distinguished place in modern Urdu Na’at literature۔
