Abstract

History of Urdu poetry reflects different aspects of life. One of an important factor is religious. Urdu poets made valuable contribution in religious poetry specially in Hamd and Naat. Right from earlier poetry, Urdu poets shows potential in this field. Arshad Meena Nagri as an urdu poet having various creative dimensions. His Book named “Rabb-e-Kainat” is a piece of great literary poetry. In this book, he presented Hamdia Kalam in different structural parameters. More then sixty different structures of poetry used in this book. Subjects of the text having equal importance. This article is an effort to acknowledge and appreciate this great poetic work. Students of urdu language & literature will be able to know about poet and his poetic diction.
