The Significance of the Art of Translation and an Examination of Its Contemporary Demands

Abstract

Translation is the art of accurately and effectively conveying the ideas of one language into another. It plays a vital role in connecting nations, sharing knowledge and literature, transferring religious and scientific information, and building international relations. Translating the text from one language to another is an art. It is not so simple as it is normally considered. It’s a very technical approach which requires deep bilingual literal, cultural and developmental study. While transforming one language into the desired one, the translator must have a valid knowledge of both languages. To get awareness from the literature of other languages, as Persian, English, Arabic, French or any other language of the world, we need translation in our native language. It also helps us in exchange multi lingual literature which is being created all over the world. Hence, translation has a great importance to in awareness and perm ligation different literatures.
